Sedie Monamodi holds a BEd specialising in Setswana and History and a BEd (Hons) in Educational Management from North West University. She started her teaching career as a high school teacher for Setswana, History and Business Economics, before being promoted to Departmental Head of Setswana. She has served as a Setswana Home Language (HL) Subject Advisor for the FET phase (Grades 10-12) in North West and was also one of the Subject Advisors who took part in screening Setswana literature books for Grades 10-12 nationally.

Seanokeng Sehume-Hlakoana is employed by Umalusi as an External Moderator for Setswana First Additional Language (FAL). Her qualifications include a Dip Ed (Secondary) from Strydom College of Education, Further Education Diploma from Rand Afrikaans University, and BA (Hons) in Setswana Prose from North West University. She further acquired a National Certificate in Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices. She worked as a Departmental Head at a high school for five official languages before being appointed as a Setswana Subject Advisor FET (Grade 10-12) in the North West Province.
